WordsWords float on a thin line
Some scurry through
My cloudy mind
Never to be caught only
Leaving their essence behind
Give me writings to where
People can sometimes find
What I mean

No matter what I do
I can never seem to convey
The emotion of my poem to
A person despite who they are
I even doubt you
Will get just what I mean
When I finish a poem I rue
Make the stupid poem

My own words
Are twisting and forming
Into a poem I didn't make
Sometimes I feel like crying
The frustration is so great
I keep writing
Otherwise I'll always
Be just scribbling

MessEverywhere I go
Every single place
The troubles seem to grow
Every smiling face
Eventually frowns with woe

Why can't I do
Anything right
I just screw
Up everything despite
The happiness I try to spew

Is it me
Am I the source of this ache
Does the pain flow free
Is this what I make
People be?

Should I go away and hide
Never to see others
Or the outside
But would I stop another's
Pain and be the only one that ever cried

What is a life with no grey
When everyone is sad
I'd give it all away
It wouldn't be that bad
I would finally be able to say

I saved a life

HopeHope is just the lies
I tell myself
Hope tells me tomorrow
Will be better then today
So I don't cry myself to sleep
Hope whispers that next time
I'll do things right
When I only make it worse
Hope says that everything will be alright
When I know it won't be
Hope promises that there is a perfect
Person for me and that one day
I'll find that person
Hope shouts that one day
I'll do great things
And will always be rememebered
So that I'll never truely die
Hope sings of a better place
When there isn't one
Hope mocks that it could be worse
But most of the time
I'd do anything to not be me
Hope is merely a lie
But that's oka

Dying inside, suffocating
Under the chains
Hiding in your veins

When did I say I didn't care?
'Cause I was lying then
Only hoping I could know
Something other than black

You hold the keys

Feel my pain
See your neglect
Understand what you've put me through
Hear me roar
My anger bouncing off the wall
My sadness ringing in
Your deaf ears
Can't you hear me
Do you just not care

If only you'd hear me
If only I could make you see
Why won't you listen
Why don't you care
Do you not see the tears
I'm shedding
You're the one that's made to care
It's your job
Why can't you just listen

Maybe you can't hear me

I'm just not loud enough

I Am...I am an observer,
I watch as you fall
and I won't make a move
to answer your call.
I am dishonest,
it has been since my smallest years
that I let my truth into others ears.

I am a composer,
of a great many lies
yet carry luck like a clover
I never break my disguise.

Through those heat filled faces surrounding me
I can just barely see
and sometimes I find nowhere to run
they take over me.
I am rarely awake with sun,
so that when everything slips undone,
I will not be exposed
I will always stay composed.

I keep my secrets like stars keep distance
burning bright beneath my skin
defining my existence
out of reach and filled

To DissapperTo vanish
Into thin air
And never be
Seen ever again

Dissolving
That simple
Thing is what
I am scared of doing

But I
Can feel
Myself slowly
Becoming invisible

I can
See my
Shadow getting
Lighter and lighter

I notice
My refection
Growing more
And more transparent

Every time
I speak I can
Hear my voice
Growing dimmer

I wonder
If I am dying
And this is how I will go,
Just simply turned into nothing

Just A Friend

His Hidden Feelings

"You two look so
cute together"
We're not a couple
we're best friends forever

Why weren't we a couple?
Me and her?
Everyone thinks it,
that we were made for each other

When people ask me why
we aren't together,
my heart slowly descends
i cover it with a smile and "she's... just a friend"

How She Truly Feels

"You two make a cute couple"
they have always said
That sentence made a path
One that hasn't been led

We weren't a couple
Why not?
He's my best friend
i love him with all i've got

Through These EyesIn a city where it rains so much
How easy it is to just see gray
Not through these eyes though
These eyes see color everywhere
No sadness will be found in the rain
By me all that's found is joy and serenity
Each drop hitting the ground is a small symphony
I say let these tears of bliss fall from the sky
Breathe life into the plants
Quench the thirst of the city
This is what I see in a city so "gray"
And it is through these eyes
I catch a glimpse of something angelic
Inside of you,when I look into your eyes,
I can see it, feel it, deep inside of you
A mysterious elegance that pierces the heart
I know now, my queen, there is

Different For a ReasonEver since I was young,
I was the one,
At the back of the class
Different from the general mass
When I was bashed beyond repair
I never gave into despair
I told myself it'd be just fine
That I was special, not like those awful swine
I told myself I didn't care
What they said about me, but it wasn't fair
When their words still cut through me
Using my fists didn't help really
Little did I know
The people who ruined my childhood
Didn't have a decent future
Unlike me
Though now times still get rough
I am tough
Enough to survive
Not like the others who lived on other's pain
The thing that is insane

living and LivingThis year, I am going to live.

That is my resolution; to simply be alive. For that is something that I have never truly been before. Sure, I’ve been breathing and functioning and doing everything that one would class as ‘living’ but I’ve never been alive. Not really.

But then again, have you?

I know what you’re thinking. Of course you have been alive; you’re sat here reading this right now so therefore you must be living. My Heart Skipped A BeatEvery time I saw you,
I couldn't help but stare.
Your beautiful eyes
Melted into mine,
And they made my heart skip a beat.

When you spoke,
It was like time stopped,
And everything stood still
Except for you and me.

I've never had a crush on someone
That made me feel this way.
Everything you did took my breath away.
The sad part about all of this is you don't even know.

You don't know that when you look at me,
I fall that much harder.
You have no idea that when you speak to me,
You put butterflies in my stomach.

I couldn't help but stare.

Torn Wings

I wasn't good enough to fly
They said when they decided to rip off my wings
I didn't know why
They said all those terrible things

Feather by feather they tore apart
My beautiful wings and most of all
My heart
I couldn't fly anymore, I only could crawl

Didn't anyone care how it made me feel
Didn't anyone care
That I would never fully heal
Wasn't there anyone to keep me from falling into despair

I guess there wasn't a person to save an outcast
So now the only thing to
Do is to try and outlast
The pain, it'll be the hardest thing to do

Besides trying to fly again
It has been so long since I've flown

Screaming SomethingThere was something about your eyes
That just screamed “Save me!”
If you could only just scream out to.
Everyone to save you from.
There are just so many to save you
From. How I wish I could help.

I tried to look in your eyes and say to you
“Trust me! I can’t stand watching you hate it!
I could never stand watching you hate me!”
But your eyes went blank; I could see how
You stopped to look, no longer searching,
And you glared at me, knowing that I couldn’t
Save you.

To Be Alive"To Be Alive"

To be forgotten; to be left alone
To have seen so many people come and go
To be unable to recognize his own home
To want to wander when there is nowhere to roam

To cherish every memory that he can
To have lost the race before it began
To have such a longing for the past
To wish that certain moments would always last

To never know what it feels like to be alive
To always leaving as soon as he arrives
To watch the streets change before his eyes
To never have gotten used to saying goodbye

To appreciate every puff of a cigar
To take in the beauty of waves crashing and strums of a guitar
To be quiet; to be humbled

The Cries I HearThese cries I hear
From far and near
Singe my ears
For these people with all those fears
Are crying out for help
They can't play the cards they have been dealt
I try to put them out of my mind
But soon I find
That they are still there
Still do I even dare
To try and care
About the growing mass that thinks it's all unfair
I can't get their pain
Out of my mind, it is driving me insane
If I ignore their cries long enough
Will I be come tough
And numb to their pleading gasping cries
All of which aren't lies
Or will I simply give in
To them
I don't know I'll have to wait and see
What they have in store for me

I want to feel
the warm embraces
the soft kisses
the beating of our hearts
all the promises of love

I want to see
the beauty
the sweetness
the happiness
of love

I want to see
the heart of my lover
the best and worst of love
the relationship last
all the time it should
